Our experience with PPRO EED has been extremely satisfying. The PproEed model of consulting and challenging the student belief is instrumental in looking at a rounded view of this decision. This was different than other task-based approaches of similar groups. The consultancy is definitely differentiated in its consulting based approach and use of collaborative technology such as video calling. We appreciate the team’s effort.

The decision of studying abroad wasn’t easy to come by. Both education in one’s own country and choosing to pursue it abroad, have their pros and cons. In general, the education abroad helps build more depth and respect for diversity. The curriculum is more evolved with experiential case-study based learning v/s the traditional “tell-do” models usually implemented in our country.

While choosing the main university, we kept a few basic points in mind which helped us narrow down our options. We had done a campus tour in 2014 and were prepared on the various options. The selected university fitted the bill from 3 perspectives:

a- West coast ( next to friends and family)

b- Recognition as the best public university in the STEM with focus on research

c-Introduction to new age concepts ( AI, HCD) from year 1.

We believe that the key success factors include focusing on the curriculum, being responsive and also doing a lot of research on the University background. These, and a little hard work, will enable any diligent student to make it through the international university of their choice.

PPRO EED provided us with the insight into international curricular with immense clarity and conviction. The counselling sessions were short and crisp which provided our child with a very clear picture of his future plans. We had a very satisfying experience with the consultancy considering the fact that we had joined very late and were very close to submission. In India, the education system is stagnant and has not evolved, hence the level is much below than what is offered abroad.

Our decision was mainly influenced by the overall world ranking and the UK college rankings. Also on the acceptance rate of the colleges and the advice of our Counsellors.

As we applied for the UK only, the main requirement is great or above average academic records of 10th and 12th (predicted) class. Plus a very good grip on English language and writing skills.
