COLLEGE RESEARCH & SHORTLISTING
Help choose the right course according to the interest of the student. Choosing an appropriate
course is a big decision and it is important to get it right, as it can impact your future success. Based
on your profile, financial constraints and career goals, we help you shortlist and choose the right
universities in the most appropriate city/country. We assist you to shortlist "Dream, Reach and Safe"
colleges.
STANDARDIZED TESTS
Standardized tests are devised especially to evaluate students and compare their aptitude in a
consistent manner. We will review any standardized test scores that you have already (e.g. GRE,
GMAT) taken and that might help you with your admission. We will also guide you regarding the
scores which the universities will be looking for and what scores you should be aiming for in order to
target particular types of institutions. If you have not taken any of the standardized tests that you
need then we can help you book these. We do not offer academic tutoring or standardized test prep
services, but we frequently provide students with referrals for academic tutors, standardized test
preparation services, behavioral health services, and financial planners. PPRO EED focuses on
educational advising and college counseling services for high school students and their families.
ESSAY GUIDANCE
Writing your college essay is an important component of your college application process and for
many students, it is perhaps the most daunting task of all. We help you brainstorm essay ideas and
guide you to creatively write about yourself that will help the admission officer discover more about
you as a person – a side of you not shown by statistics like grades and standardized tests. Our
editor’s proofread the essays; ensure that the essays are error-free; improve upon the content,
grammar, tone and structure before finally submitting the essay.
RECOMMENDATION LETTER GUIDANCE
Getting a perfect letter of recommendation (LOR) goes a long way in your application process. We
encourage students to maintain strong relationships with their school counsellors, administrators
and teachers and provide guidance to the students how to go about getting a good LOR.
TRACKING DEADLINES
PPRO EED counselors help parents and students stay on track with important priorities, such
as GRE / GMAT registration and completing college applications on time. The college counseling
work is well-paced so that students don’t find themselves cramming at the last minute to complete
applications. Parents consistently praise PPRO EED’s organized approach and frequent
communications. These efforts help students complete their work in a timely manner, alleviating
the need for parents to provide reminders to meet deadlines.
APPLICATION REVIEW AND SUBMISSION
Once you’ve received your test scores, written your Essay’s/ SOP’s, gathered your transcripts and
certificates, received your recommendation letters, compiled your portfolio and filled out the
application form, it’s finally time to submit the application.We will walk through the entire
application with you, make sure you’ve crossed off every requirement before finally submitting your
application.
INTERVIEW MENTORING
Interviews from the prospective universities are discussion-based, and predominantly academic and
subject-related, so applicants will be asked questions: that are relevant to the course they applied for
about the information provided in the written elements of their application. We help students
prepare by encouraging them to talk with confidence and enthusiasm about their subject and wider
interests. A mock interview can be helpful to give the experience of expressing ideas and opinions in
response to unknown questions.
FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
We will work with you to ensure that you understand your financial aid eligibility and how that
differs from college to college. We will help you know which financial aid forms to complete and when
to get them done. In addition to finding the right college fit, PPRO EED counselors will assist
students in obtaining merit scholarships that recognize their academic achievement, extracurricular
leadership, work experience etc. Parents are thrilled when scholarship opportunities are presented
as the college financing process becomes more affordable and less stressful.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation plays a very important role in the well being of the student. We help to choose the
accommodation nearby to the location of the university and in accordance with the facilities
required. Our team provides all the information about accommodation both on the campus and off
the campus.
VISA COUNSELLING
Applying for visa is one of the most critical aspects of your preparations for overseas studies. The
visa, however, can also be one of the most daunting aspects of the preparations. It is one aspect with
which you will seek guidance.
