Can Undergraduate Students Work in Dubai?
Yes, international undergraduate students are permitted to work part-time while studying in Dubai, subject to specific regulations:
- A student visa is required
- A work permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MOHRE)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the university is mandatory
- Students may work up to 15 hours per week or 60 hours per month during term time
This policy enables students to gain valuable work experience and earn supplemental income while studying.
