A lot of queries that come to us ask about courses that students can pursue on scoring low in boards. While universities like DU may make you feel inadequate if you score below 90%, worry not. There are a lot of courses that can be pursued without the hassle of percentage. These courses are more practical in nature and test your skills rather than academic excellence. Not to say that marks are not a criterion, they just feature lower in the list.

Photography

If you have a knack for seeing beauty in things around you, can work your way around a camera lens, have a sense of color and light, Photography is your calling. You could always join a photography course and take up a similar course for graduation. Many courses need portfolios and not rigid academic records. Cinematography is another interesting course to pursue. NYU has an excellent photography school. You can also apply for short study abroad courses during your college years in case you choose to pursue some other degree.

One of the most upcoming fields is the one, that does not need you to be on the top of your class as long as you have an eye for details, you’re updated about trends and can put together an ensemble at the drop of a hat. Fashion and Textile design courses also do not have extremely rigid academic requirements. Acting Dance Music

Performing arts require training, perseverance and effort.
