When MBA applicants apply to a business school, they usually apply to schools where they have a better chance of being accepted. But another factor that one needs to consider is whether it is financially viable for us to apply and study at a college in a country. It is a wide-ranging debate – do you study at a great college with the burden of loan hanging on your back or do you make do with an average college which offers you a generous scholarship? For most of us, it’ll be the latter.

A major chunk of international students must rely on some form of MBA funding assistance including student loan, scholarship, teaching assistantship/research assistantship. The loan coupled with the interest puts you in a huge debt. A scholarship can ease your financial burden to some extent. And if you are smart enough, the college may fund you all the way through.

But you need to act fast and apply early for scholarships. Here are a few scholarships that are offered to Indian students hoping to pursue MBA.

There are full and partially funded scholarships for students and trust us, unlike the mammoth task it may seem owing to the huge number of applicants, it isn’t so. You just have to apply early in order to improve your chances.
